Guest questions at reception down by half
The brief
Terme Nuove is a spa in an old tannery with eleven pools, four saunas and thirty corridors. Guests kept getting lost in their bathrobes.
What we made
Every room has a number in the floor tile and a colour on the doorframe. Signs are engraved brass, lit from below, and readable in steam.
We also made the website and the booking screen to use the same numbers, so a guest can say room nine and mean the same room everywhere.
The result
Questions at reception halved in the first month, and the spa now gives the number tiles away as souvenirs.
